CROSSING BORDERS IN DIGITAL MEDIA COMMUNICATION: ROMANIAN TRENDS AND PRACTICES

The volume represents an invitation to reflection about the changes that shape digital media communication, focusing on theoretical and applied dimensions of the Romanian media universe. Some questions addressed by the authors may still be (re)considered as not entirely answered, but they definitely should be regarded as insights of a fluid and ongoing process of contemporary communication. As experts in communication sciences, we agree that communication should have no limits and borders, except the ethical ones. Nevertheless, it is our duty to reveal and to address some threats and deviances, on the one hand, some effects and transgressions of the new media landscape, on the other hand, and to seek in-depth answers, solutions and to propose ways and means of analyses together with our readers.
